Loving Tallow was created while on a much needed family holiday. Before going away, our family had been going through a wellness journey through drastically cutting down our toxic load. Cleaning products, laundry products, food, etc, etc, I had been using my trusty Yuka app and cleaning up our entire lives. I finally came to my skincare, my beloved skincare (or not so much as I came to realise). Unbeknownst to me, what I was using on my face was not loving me back. It was messing with my hormones, exacerbating my concerns, and the list goes on. I was on the hunt for skincare that worked and loved me back whole heartedly.

 

In came tallow, I made a custom batch and took it with me and my family on holiday. My skin was glowing and changed. I'd never felt my face so smooth and it had reduced my hormonal breakouts. Was it just the holiday glow? I came back from vacationing and still with continued use of my tallow based skincare, my skin had never felt and looked better. In-fact a stubborn patch of eczema that I had long ago given up treating with steroid cream due to its ineffectiveness, had completely disappeared. So I decided I wanted to share my secret with the world, and most importantly, I wanted to share my ideas that I had come up with through extensive research and formulation. Loving Tallow was born, and I am so excited to keep on formulating healthy, non-toxic, and effective skincare that loves you right back.
